Lunes 21 de Marzo.

Today we are continue the questions about Human Rights. Thinking about the situation that we expained the last day we are answer the next questions:

1)What does it mean to be “entitled to” something?
To be " entlied to something " is that you can do something.

2)Describe how the rights of the student with the cell phone collide with other peopleś rights.
The teacher has right to have a good class without interruptions and the student has right to have a mobile phone, but if the mobile's of the student interrupting the class of the teacher, the right of the student collide with the right of the teacher.

The Golden Rule ( Sección bilingüe )

Miércoles 16 de Marzo.

In this day we worked in a project about the Golden Rule and answered some questions about this:

1) What is the Golden Rule?
The Golden rule is a maximun ethical code or morality that esentially states either of the following:
- One should trate others as one would like other to treat oneself.

2) Why is the Golden rule important to discussing Human Rights?
Because is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of Human Rights.

3) In wich culture can we find the Golden Rule?
You can find the Golden Rule in western culture: Babylon, Egypt, Persia, India,Greece, Judea, China...

4)Why do we have to respect the Golden Rule?
Because if we don't respect the main ethic rule, we can't belive that the other people respect any ethic rule, and probably without ethics rules the world won't work well.

5) Is it necessary to belong to a religion in order to follow the Golden Rule?
You don't have to have religion valves to be a ethic person.

Today we are starting a work about Human Rights. In this work we have to answer some questions about this. Today Beatriz and me read the first part of the work and answered some questions.
In the first part of the work there is the next situation:
" In a grammar school classroom a teacher was talking and going through the lesson when she was interrupted by the musical tone of a mobile phone. The teacher headed towards the place where the sound came from. Sitting on a chair, a student was triying to switch off the mobile phone. The teacher said: " give me that phone" and the children said: " i told you to give me that phone".
The questions are:

1)What right does the student claim to have?
He claim to use the mobile phone equal to his teacher.

What right does the teacher claim to have?
She claim to confiscate the student's mobile because she has right to have a class without interruptios.
